The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, dies in Los Angeles at the age of 50 after a cardiac arrest. The unexpected death of the king of pop has shocked millions of fans all over the world.
Thousands have started gathering around the medical centre, UCLA Hospital, where he had been hospitalised after he reportedly stopped breathing at his LA home early Thursday afternoon. He was pronounced death soon after his arrival at the hospital. A post-mortem is expected to be conducted on Friday, June 26th.
Michael Jackson had long complained about various health problems, but was to start his UK tour in three weeks' time in July. Ironically, his UK tour had been named "This is it". He said, when he came to London to promote it, that it would be his last tour, making it unclear whether it would be his last in the UK or worldwide. His unexpected death, which has saddened millions all over the world, presented all with a sad answer. Not away from controversy, he is survived by three children.
