International superstar Michael Jackson dies in Los Angeles at the age of 50 after a heart attack. Tributes are pouring in for the biggest artist of the past 30 years. Among those who paid tribute to him were Madonna and Britney Spears, the Queens of pop.

Madonna said that she could not stop crying while Britney Spears expressed shock, saying she was devastated by the sudden death of the pop icon. Michael Jackson and Britney Spears, the King and the Queen of pop, sang together at Jackson's 30th anniversary in music in New York's Madison Square Garden in 2001. Watch this video.

Michael Jackson and Britney Spears sang "The Way You Make Me Feel` together. Britney Spears said that "she was devastated that he's gone". Spears said she was to see his show in London when Michael Jackson was scheduled to give a series of concerts, stating that they both were going to be on a tour in Europe at the same time this summer.

"I was so excited to see his show in London. I was going to fly in to see him. He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I am devastated he's gone," Britney Spears said.
